"Bring me Thanos", the Infinity War snap, "I'm always angry" and Avengers Assemble are my top 4 MCU moments, I think. I might be leaning towards Avengers Assemble but I don't know if that is because it is new

Can’t agree at all with that. That Wakanda battle was so lame. Huge CGI fest with no focus suddenly switches to too small a fight with no scale between Thanos and avengers. It looked like it was reshot. And that’s aeful CGI shot of banners head floating over the suit. How in gods name did that get released? It didnt follow what just came before it all all for me.

Endgames battle blends both aspects so well and effortlessly.

Mileage may vary on either though.

I think both the Wakanda battle and the Titan battle are better as far as action beats go. The Endgame battle felt more cinematic in that it was more about the story that was unfolding rather than the action. There are numerous points in the Endgame battle that are genuinely emotionally moving, but fewer great moments that are about the fight itself

The first three times I've seen the Endgame battle I was moved to tears at 3 different moments (plus the great cap moment with mjolnir) and it is just a great stretch of the film. Maybe it's better. I won't know for sure until I can watch it at home.

I really want to see it in IMAX since it was shot 100% IMAX cameras but the only actual theater here isn't carrying it. Apparently they're like the cheap theaters and only show movies outside of the theatrical run. Eh, might be better to see it later anyway since the theater is also in Portland and traffic is a bitch.

I just thought of something. Scott says that his five years in the quantum realm were only five seconds or whatever, but if that's the case shouldn't Janet Van Dyne have been virtually the same age as she was when she went in? When she returns she's as old as Hank, but even 30 or 40 years should have been less than a minute to her in the quantum realm.

OK, so she was in there for a few days at the most then.

So based on this response from Kevin Feige, they just overlooked that so they could have an age-appropriate actress for Michael Douglas to reunite with.
Peter: So there are layers that time does not pass by?
Kevin: That’s what they’ve told us. They’ve told us that it, time and physics and space work very differently down there. That was a big question during the development process. And as usual, you’re the first one to pick on it a little bit, which is… should she have aged or not? And we felt that new Quantum Realm, we could justify either one. But that ultimately you wanna have an emotional reunion with Michael Douglas, an emotional reunion with Evangeline Lily and our first instinct had always been specifically now Michelle Pfeiffer from that first movie. It felt like it should be somebody who’s the right age. As opposed to Michael Douglas with somebody who has not aged. Or Evangeline Lily connecting with somebody who’s not aged. That just adds another layer of sort of sci-fi weirdness. Yeah. And we’re not afraid of sci-fi weirdness. I love it. But not in that case.

I mean he’s an intelligent dildo when you come down to it.
Women have dildos all the time. Not all of them can talk or have ‘feelings’ but it’s not a big deal
