Speaking of finally, yesterday I saw Poor Things. A glorious story that function as a sequel and a retelling of Frankenstein. Emma deserves all the praise.

Birth / Rebirth was very good and took me on a wild emotional rollercoaster: bleak, sad, beautiful, hilariously funny, then goddamn terrifying
a good horror movie for all the right reasons, but I'm not great at body horror and my next movie is gonna have to have a few less needles, cannulas, and *checks notes* bone marrow aspirations? *shudder*

"don't you walk away from me, you mad scientist princess bitch!"

Silent Night (2012)
What an awesome slasher. Brutal, nasty, filthy. The gore is top notch. Looks also great.

Divinity was cool and really weird. Like a full lenght episode 8 from Twin Peaks The Return. Stephen Dorff was great.

Also saw this. I thought it starts really strong and shocking and then falls in all the tropes of this kind of movies. Remind me of the remake of Dead Ringers with Rachel Weisz.

Think we'll ever get to see that new Salem's Lot? Stephen King has seen it and he says it's "not like it's embarrassing, or anything".
