Just listened to these for the first time. I can understand why these were b-sides now. And I'm also not surprised by the OVER-reaction from RM. Would Cold Confession had made a better closer than Inside Job? Yea, probably. Does Let It Ride sound like more of a natural progression from Binaural/RA than anything else on S/T? Perhaps. But this doesn't really affect my opinion or my listening of S/T in any way. I loved S/T and still do. If anything this just makes me really excited for the final studio versions of these two songs when they finally get released on Stray Cats!!!

Cold Confession is pretty great. I'm pretty sure I like it more than every slow song written since Vitalogy.

Serious request for one of the audiophile people. Can someone post one of those compression graphs for these two songs and compare it to something from S/T (the brickwall pics)?

they are not currently commercially available, nor have they contacted us (to my knowledge) asking us to take them down.

If RM didn't exist, 10c would have to invent it.

Fair call. I had noticed that they quickly closed down any thread relating to these songs at the pit.....and it surprised me some that seemed to be quite slow in realising these were out there.

We would not delete these threads, but if 10c asked us to take the songs down we'd have to. The owner of the site has no interest in getting tangled up in this stuff, and, in fairness, I don't think pearl jam is ever wrong in wanting to control leaked material, even if I am happier when they fail.
