Gosh I hope Schwartz keeps his jobChris_H_2 wrote:So the Lions have a chance to go 5-1 in the division . . . and yet still find a way to finish in third place.
Only the miserable Lions . . .
In 2010 the Raiders swept the division and still managed to finish in third place and out of the playoffs.Chris_H_2 wrote:So the Lions have a chance to go 5-1 in the division . . . and yet still find a way to finish in third place.

agree with this. that's a stupid asterisks. defenseless should relate to exposure at the time, not position.Peeps wrote:if he defenseless the entire play then once he punts the ball away he should have to leave the field of play
Perhaps the NFL should go the MLB route and allow teams to have a DT (designated tackler) for kickers since they are typically 1/2 the size of a real NFL player. Once they kick they can 'tag' out of the game.dkfan9 wrote:agree with this. that's a stupid asterisks. defenseless should relate to exposure at the time, not position.Peeps wrote:if he defenseless the entire play then once he punts the ball away he should have to leave the field of play

They need to win now that Dallas wonturned2black wrote:Will Philly rest people tonight?
Nope. No matter what Philly does tonight, the NFC East title will be decided next week. This means that the Cowboys will face a third straight elimination game on national television in Week 17. It'll be quite entertaining if they get knocked out by all three of their rivals in three consecutive seasons.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:They need to win now that Dallas wonturned2black wrote:Will Philly rest people tonight?
