Ravens just picked up Roquan. That’s interesting at least.

You've lost Brady/Bucs

Cincy, the defending AFC champ, is down (but maybe they get to 5-3 tonight)

ATL leads the NFC South at 4-4

MIN is 6-1 but it doesn't feel it

Packers/Rogers are down

Bright spot to me so far is to still have an undefeated team in Philly
The Rams also.
The Rams are a surprise for sure. But isn't that drama? Isn't that interesting? Maybe they weren't who we thought they were? Maybe last year's SB was a legit sham...
Not when the games are just mostly ugly. And that’s not just the Rams.
I was talking about the Rams because you were talking about the Rams.

My first statement was about the Rams. My second was a general statement about other games/teams playing uglyly. Reiterating my feelings of this being a down year.

I mean I caveated everything saying it was early, but it's never a good thing to have Brady and Rodgers playing meaningless games, which is where it's headed. It's just collectively bad football and that's hardly a controversial take if you listen to the radio or watch the news.

agree with len, not a lot of skill play across the NFL this year

bad football? you guys must not be watching the eagles every weekend.

BOOM!

MCM just threw, ran and caught a TD. there's nothing 'bad' about football, coach is just getting old. people said the same nonsense when young, elway, marino, etc. all got old. brady and rodgers aren't in the top 5 qbs right now. father time stays undefeated. assist from gisele

I turned on the tv right as Burrow threw a beautiful pick.

And warehouse, you know better than to single out a few examples to try to discredit our general claim. Of course there are bright spots, just overall we see a lot of mediocre to sloppy to bad play more often than usual.

i think part of it is the thursday night games this season. they've been almost entirely terrible. and honestly i havent watched a ton of football this year. how are the giants 6-2?!? i just think the qb argument is bad, and i wanted to call coach old LOL. we have some of the most athletic qb's ever in the game all approaching their prime. i wonder if more players are changing frequently leading to sloppier play. also, the eagles are unbelievable.

i think a lack of changing-of-the-guard in passing QBs is part of it

there are a lot of oldies who retired or were hanging on this year for their last year and they suck now

there have been a couple young bright spots, either as a pocket passer, or a rushing-style QB

but the majority of the QBs in the NFL blow ass at this point, which doesn't lend itself to skill play

like a south beach night club after 3am, we're mostly just seeing muscular slobs ram into each other

With the Pats so average, I have actually made a note to watch more football this year to check out the others teams. Just in general feels like a down year. While I am 45, I've been told via my online dating that I don't look that old, Warehouse.
