I adore that song. It's high on my ranking list than most of the songs I actually chose. I just couldn't find a comfortable spot for it on my team. But I'm so happy somebody took it. It's such a lovely sentiment, even if it is a bit obvious.Monkey_Driven wrote:Just Breathe
It goes well with my playlist and I've always had a soft spot for the verses.
It is a great cove. And if I was going to pick a cover it would have been Last Kiss or Sonic Reducer of LROM. But I have a thing against taking covers as long as original tunes are still available.stip wrote:Songs I almost drafted that weren't picked:
The Fixer
Acoustic 1 (I have been loving that lately--eddie sounds so good on it, and it would have closed out my playlist)
Songs I would have gladly taken if not for the fact that they didn't fit:
Come Back (I had black and so hardly needed it)
Last Kiss (fuck all of you, this is a great cover)

Audacity won't let me take files from iTunes. So I'm not able to make a playlist. I'll post the order and let folks make it themselves if they want. Or better yet, folks can put my team in the order they like best. I don't really care.cutuphalfdead wrote:In audacity there are different tool buttons on the top that change what your mouse cursor does. One of them allows you to drag and drop different audio files within the session you have open. Open all the mp3s you're going to use and then drag and drop them into order. They can all be in one track or in separate tracks as long as they don't overlap each other. Once you have it all lined up you export it as one long mp3 file.
And yeah, an mp3 made from other mp3s will be doubly degraded but for this purpose that won't be a big deal.
I am planning on using dropbox. Place the file in your public folder. Right-click and select "Copy public link", then paste it here.ccanad wrote:I have the mp3 file on my desktop. Where can I host the file so I can post it? I tried dropbox but that doesn't to appear to have worked...
Yep, works for me. Ccanad, see if you can access my file. It it works, then repeat these steps for your mp3 file and post it here and I'll check to see if it worked.bluestate wrote:I am planning on using dropbox. Place the file in your public folder. I gave it a try with a sample file. Let's see if it worked:

I am... So I just won't ever vote for your team.HardTI wrote:Is there anyone here on a Lightning Bolt blackout? I ask/warn just because I took the song Lightning Bolt and don't want to ruin anyones album plans by accidentally hearing that if I do make my playlist available.
ok well just to give you some non spoilerish info about the song - it's easily the best song the band has ever written.its like dte mixed with immortality mixed with release mixed with insignificance mixed with grievance mixed with ed orgasming on your face. take that into account when voting. thanksTass Man wrote:I am... Well not about being on the blackout, that part is true
there is an option to convert itunes songs to mp3. Does that help?durdencommatyler wrote:Audacity won't let me take files from iTunes. So I'm not able to make a playlist.
