glad to hear all is ok mr higgs

speaking of kidneys.....

my uncle who passed away from cancer was in for his treatments. the drs have him fill out the paperwork about allergies, past medical procedures etc..

they do the scan of the body to see if the cancer has spread and afterwards they approach him and ask him why he failed to mentioned he had a kidney removed.

puzzled he said because he never did.

turns out they show him the scan and clearly he is missing a kidney.

apparently you can be born without a kidney and never know

Man that story from Higgs got me all fucked today. I can’t stop thinking about how lucky his son is but also how easily it happened. We saw a dude in a bar try to roofie a girl’s drink but before we said anything the bartender fucked him up really good and then called the cops. Scary stuff

The really interesting thing is that often it’s not even due to their own actions, it’s like something about Australians attracts insane turns of events. Especially in groups.

To be clear, it often absolutely is due to their own actions

:haha:

He's almost home. Heading to the airport to pick him up and give him a huge HUG in about 4 hours or so.

You will never catch me referring to friends as “mates”

Aren’t you from Chicago or something? WTF

If you can't call them a mate then you aren't very good friends.

That was my first thought after checking the bum. Kidney-nappers.
Man. This never even entered my thoughts.

We ran some missions with some Aussie military units. In countries where alcohol was prohibited. Somehow, the Aussie tent cities had loads of beer.

poor reading comprehension by bammer. Spike is talking about his Australian bil, so by default his friends are mates. Do better bammer.

Haha, yes. My Australian in laws have also been living with us for the last month, so the slang tends to seep back into my brain.
