I just can't think of a single modern pop/rock artist that is as cool or has meant as much to me as Annie Clark. She's just... she's just the best.

She's been threatening a heavy metal album for a long time. I'd love to see her take a logical step from St. Vincent down a heavier road. That could be super badass.
But I have a hard time believing I'll be mad at whatever she comes up with.
