No. With Donald Glover they have hit their Star Wars world building of one black guy per film.
Fucking racist Disney.

Star Wars is falling apart the same way pearl jam is. Oh everyone gets to have a song on the record now. Let's make sure we include every sexuality and minority's. Blah blah.

Make the story great. Screw including everyone. It's so painfully transparent.

It looks like Han is wearing platform shoes to appear taller.

So, the guy I know "on the inside" said that the firing of Lord and Miller really came down to Kasdan.

Here's what he said:
Here's what I was told today. Take it for what it's worth but it's from a big time cinematographer:

"You don't fuck with Lawrence Kasdan".

FYI, he was so pissed off with the dailies and the script variations that he hopped on a jet from LA and flew as fast as possible to London.

He's a legacy guy and carries a lot of weight.
He then followed up by saying that the leaked set photos are of a scene that Lord and Miller shot. Not sure if that means the images are from before they were fired or if that means they it's a re-shoot.

Lawrence Kasdan hasn't done anything noteworthy in like 20 years.

Still, he's pretty high on he Lucasfilm hierarchy. Empire, Jedi, The Force Awakens... Raiders. He's got a lot of clout and this project seems to be super important to him. I'm not here to defend Kasdan's ability. I actually, don't know that he's really all that great. But I get why he'd be upset and I totally get why Lucasfilm sided with him over L&M.

Yeah fucking Kaskan man. He's been living off his past exploits for awhile now. He's a real life Thanos. He's just pulling the strings while he sits in the background bragging about how awesome he is. Everyone does his bidding while he does jack shit. The movie Thanos is maybe almost as boring too.

Woody has confirmed that shooting (proper) resumes today (this according to NME). And according to THR he said, "I think I read some stuff where people were worried about the fate of this movie [...] I wouldn’t worry. The Force is still very much with it.”

I wonder if he thinks his role is as good as Rampart

One thing is for sure, he likes the paycheck better.
