The Democrats seemed to rack up huge victories in state legislatures after getting beaten in a big way during the Obama years. I haven't checked these numbers personally, but was reading that they lost about 1,000 seats during Obama's eight years. They may have won close to 400 back this week.

As time is going on, it's clear that Florida's early numbers drastically influenced how people are viewing these results. Democrats may have exceeded expectations, particularly if Arizona and/or Florida end up going their way.

Yup. The pundits wasted two days discussing the meaning of the word wave while races were still up in the air. all the more reason to ignore noise like momentum and narratives, and pay attention to....the signal

I'll be interested to see the numbers on Hispanic voters in AZ.

I have to think they came out in larger numbers for Sinema to carry Maricopa County.

If they didn't, I think that's actually worse news for Trump and the GOP.
