Putin had such a good day today
You can tell by his body language that Abe has some mechas up his sleeve. Maybe Putin's day is tempered by Abe's nonchalance.McParadigm wrote:Putin had such a good day today
And if history is any indicator, everything they inherit will be deemed their fault by the Republican Party.tragabigzanda wrote:JFC. i feel bad for the next POTUS; it will almost certainly be four straight years of the thankless job of making amends and cleaning up messes.

Not exactly wrong about what?Bi_3 wrote:Trump's not exactly wrong though, he's just incapable of understanding why it's better to allow other allied countries to siphon off a little of the US economy.
A real free trade zone stretching across the G7 might hold a China/Russia alliance in-check economically and benefit the G7 nations as well.4/5 wrote:Not exactly wrong about what?Bi_3 wrote:Trump's not exactly wrong though, he's just incapable of understanding why it's better to allow other allied countries to siphon off a little of the US economy.
Are you saying Trump is advocating that? Funny way to go about it.Bi_3 wrote:A real free trade zone stretching across the G7 might hold a China/Russia alliance in-check economically and benefit the G7 nations as well.4/5 wrote:Not exactly wrong about what?Bi_3 wrote:Trump's not exactly wrong though, he's just incapable of understanding why it's better to allow other allied countries to siphon off a little of the US economy.

LOL. Free trade has been a topic of discussion at G7 since jump. Last year, Trudeau was the one pushing for it and Trump was the one lashing out in opposition. And this year, Donnie announced a bunch of new tariffs right before heading to the meeting, blurted out “maybe no tariffs” without plan or purpose, then refused to discuss canceling even his new ones.Bi_3 wrote:A real free trade zone stretching across the G7 might hold a China/Russia alliance in-check economically and benefit the G7 nations as well.4/5 wrote:Not exactly wrong about what?Bi_3 wrote:Trump's not exactly wrong though, he's just incapable of understanding why it's better to allow other allied countries to siphon off a little of the US economy.
He did, that was the point, he's just incapable of not being a little b*tch about everything so it gets lost in the noise.doone wrote:Are you saying Trump is advocating that? If he was actually suggesting that, it'd be fantastic. He seems to be doing basically the exact opposite, though.Bi_3 wrote:A real free trade zone stretching across the G7 might hold a China/Russia alliance in-check economically and benefit the G7 nations as well.4/5 wrote:Not exactly wrong about what?Bi_3 wrote:Trump's not exactly wrong though, he's just incapable of understanding why it's better to allow other allied countries to siphon off a little of the US economy.
