Im getting Won’t Tell more and more with each listen. I like specially the ending
It's the most authentic thing on the record. I couldn't ever skip this gem.Homeboyd wrote:Yeah I must be drunker than I think because I enjoyed the hell out of Something Special...it does what it's trying to do verywell.
Finally! Ed's not happy anymore... that's why thus album is so goodspike wrote:Regarding earlier comments about Ed’s story and sequencing remarks, and this being a concept album… seems it could be Ed’s relationship history, or Jill’s, or a mix of both maybe.

I think the production is mostly great tbh...the guitars sound great, Ed sounds great, the bass sounds great, and I have no idea how to analyze drums. The mixing/engineering is too bright for sure but the official release is still a good listen.guitar_davey wrote:Say what you like about Watt's production, but goddammit he made the guitars sound fun and interesting on this thing.
The comparison has already been made in countless reviews, but this is the Quadrophenia track I bet Eddie always wanted them to make. They've made some grasps for it in the past with other tunes, but they full on fucking nailed it here. Pete will be proud of Ed.stip wrote:oh man, GTG sounds amazing - love whatever's happening at the end after Eddie's done
To get this out of the band at this point. He deserves a lot of praisestip wrote:So it would seemArthur Morgan wrote:Andrew Watt is really good at his job.
they don't seem overly private either. Bizzareridleybradout wrote:They're missing from the liner notes too.
