What if Rey is up against Kylo and the Knights of Ren (assuming they are all Jedi types) , is faced with overwhelming odds, and then force ghosts of all those guys appear to help her? My inner fan boy won't let me evaluate whether or not that's a good idea

Watched this again on Saturday night.
Still think the Canto Bight sequence is the only thing that isn't up to star wars par. A little too heavy handed and feels kind of washed over. really cool environment and Benecio's character is far underutilized.
Everything else? Top notch Star Wars and entertainment, friends.

yea but the thing about the movie is it turned out that he WONT be the last jedi. He was the last Jedi (Rey is still in training) and he wanted them to end and for him to die alone on the island along with the secrets and training of the jedi.
But but but luke is fucking amazing and he realized for the better and states "i will not be the last jedi"
