Have you tried daft punk’s random access memories? That’s a crowd pleaser in house trag.
I was just watching this the other day where Nile Rogers says he wrote an incredible album with Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams called Random Access Memories, and how it won the album of the year Grammy and how he is so proud of that achievement. According to Wikipedia he has writing credits on 3 songs and the album has 13 tracks...

From ~11:30 till ~13:30

Also, I'm pretty sure the discussion between Nile and Russell after the taping went something like this: "You ever do that again and you're out!"
watching this now, it's great.

RAM is *maybe* a desert island top 10 album for me.
Yeah it's a great performance and it's pretty incredible how many hits Nile has written/co-written over the years. Just thought it was funny how he basically claimed he wrote the whole Random Access Memories with Daft Punk and Pharrell. But I guess you don't get anywhere in the show biz by being modest. Anyways Daft Punk rules :bammer:

Nile Rodgers was over here in October last year and I am bummed that I didn't get to see him. So many great tunes, and he fully brings the "wucka-wucka", which I love.

Both singles are out of this world. 16 Carriages is probably my favorite song of the year so far.

I'm expecting this record to be my favorite of the year, honestly.

I love Country music and I love Beyonce. This makes all the sense in the world to me and my ear. The last time she dipped her toe in this arena was Daddy Lessons on Lemonade and that is still to this day a favorite track of mine.

I don't know man, I'm just really pumped for this record.

Good stuff. I plan to check it out at some point. It’s an interesting concept that could make for an awesome album. Anything to diminish the prevalence of bro country in my neck of the woods!

Maybe I’ll wear western wear next time I’m at Lucali.

Pics or it didn't happen

Allo Darlin' are making an album in Oslo this summer. Surprising to me that they are coming to Norway to make it, but very happy that there will be a new album.

It generally annoys me too, but I can’t help but respect Black Sabbath naming the first track “Black Sabbath” on their debut album titled Black Sabbath

Similar to how the band Bad Company has a song called "Bad Company" on their album Bad Company.

Pearl Jam missed their opportunity to have a song called "Pearl Jam"
