Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to be a PS+ monthly game for March. That’s wild.

I was shocked by that too. Great news you PS owners, not so good for Bioware/EA.

The real news, of course, is that TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection will also be added.

I was just as stoked to see that. Shredder's Revenge tickled my nostalgia bone in such a way that I've been eyeing that Cowabunga Collection for months.

It sounds like it sold less than half what they were expecting.

I played through Hyperstone Heist last year. I still need to play Turtles in Time.

I never played Turtles in Time at home, it was always an arcade game for me.

Other than the wokeness of one of your party members, it's really great.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I look forward to it too.

So some of the devs from Disco Elysium have gotten together and have a kickstarter going for their next project: Hopetown. From the art samples they’ve provided, it’s definitely got the same style. Notably, it seems like the game’s original creator and some of the writers are not on the team, so take from that what you will: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lo ... /hopetown/

Apparently there are 4 or 5 different studios claiming to be the spiritual successor to DE. It was an ugly divorce.

Yeah I am sure one of those Disco Elysium follow-ups has to be good…right? I’m probably most optimistic about whatever Kurvitz works on and least optimistic with whatever hedge fund owns the actual Disco Elysium copyright.

Sounds like Ubisoft is about to be dead?

Oh man, Marvel's Cosmic Invasion looks perfect. Like Shredder's Revenge by the same developer. I'd prefer another Ultimate Alliance, but this would be the next best thing.

I gave Atomfall a try this morning. I know it garnered the reputation of "British Fallout" before it was even released, and there are definitely striking similarities, but I think it's got some fun stuff of its own going on. I'm not a big survival game player, and it definitely leans more that way than the action-RPG style of Fallout, but even after just an hour of playtime I've learned a lot about how to play the game carefully and be rewarded for it. I tried the new Stalker game earlier this year, which is also in the same sort of orbit, but just couldn't get over how dark it all was--not in tone or anything, just visually dark and muddy, Atomfall is might brighter (in the overworld at least) in a way that makes me want to explore.

And the first major AAA title that might get GTA'd goes to Ghost of Tsushima 2 (Yotei) - October 2.

Sony absolutely knows when GTA is coming out. Something tells me GTA is either pushed to 2026 or it's an August or November release based on this new information.

I don't think Sony knows. They only guarantee is Borderlands 4 won't get f'd by GTA - same publisher. This is coming out a week after Borderlands 4. It's a strategic guess. A smart move.

I wrote my initial post thinking Borderlands was being released in August. It's actually September 25. GoY is safe from GTA.
