Also while I genuinely loved ep 4 and 5 I couldn’t help but laugh and think they over did with the French resistance vibe.

Just I thought of it more than anything else watching these past two eps of andor. It felt like a send up and very much took away from any seriousness that was there.

the whole scene was too quick IMHO

Some sort of set up would of been handy and yes let him suffer for longer.

all the journos and reviewers got to see the entire new series and they say that recast is a shock at first in that first scene but it’s flawless afterwards and you’ll barely notice and yes the first is not the only appearance.

I'm seeing people (not so much here) complain about the pacing so far. I think it is brilliant. We don't need flashy laser battles every moment. I've only watched episode 4 of the new batch but thought it was beautiful.

I'm at the same spot in the show and totally agree. This show is not feel good twirly space magic. This show is the grey reality of what lasting change takes, which is personally painful and builds slowly, requiring compromise and sacrifice and dedication beyond shoot 'em ups and sword fights.

Rebellions are a noble thing but much dirty nasty business needs doing to achieve their aim.

Have to say, this particular rebellion is the best dressed and most stylish rebellion ever seen.
For now at least. They’re all wearing rags once the run at the Death Star plans happens. And just never gets its glam back on.

Yeah, I like Bratt but lack of continuity is one of my pet peeves. Having actors like Smits and O’Reilly continue in these roles between different projects creates some really nice connective tissue across the entire saga.

Genevieve is my favourite story. Cast in a one scene for ROTS that got deleted. She’s not even in the background anywhere.
And then bamm. 20 years later back in a movie and 2 series everyone loves.

The production on this show never ceases to amaze me. Everything looks so good. So real.
