Even with good lyrics i dont think I'd be a fan of inside job. The vocal delivery is a huge turn off, the actual music feels like something a 16 year old (me probably) would write when he first learns guitar, and the song tries to be way bigger than it is.

I kinda liked it till I heard them do Reign Over Me. Then I realized what Inside Job tried to be and completely failed at it.

And you write some lyrics for it.

This isn't a pit style defence of the song but I'm just interested what people think is better lyrics(anything seemingly). So you can write lyrics to it and see how we all go.

Since you didn't like the song you have to rewrite it and then we'll supply the lyrics. When Dime comes back in five minutes he can judge the original composition.

Um, is this a "If you could have written better lyrics than Mike, you do it!" type argument? Because that's a non-starter. I like Mike, he's a good dude in a cool band. But my stepkids could've written better lyrics than these ones.
