Most of my exposure to them happened in middle school and that's where they should have stayed.
I don't see them referenced that much anymore, but when I do I lose a lot of respect for the person who likes them.
Anyway, it's an irrational hatred - I shouldn't have to be accountable for it.

Cats would eat you if they were bigger. They only use you for your food and shelter. Dogs legitimately like you.

I'm uncomfortable with the slavish nature of the dog/human relationship. A cat's affection is earned - all you have to do to gain the affection of a dog is exist.
