"Caramel" was magic. The candle...
We ate at The French Laundry two years ago and this episode evoked the same feeling I had throughout that meal. Very special.

Great finale.
The constant meandering, inability to answer phone calls, and lack of tighter editing really held this series back a bit these past few seasons but I’m glad it exists in its imperfect, messy form all the same. Special show.
Now give us a 60-minute “Ninja Museum” post-script episode, FX.

Imagine citing a crucial, simmering plot point as a weakness. You are too stupid for this show. And this isn't an intellectual show. You utter mong.
Fuck yourself and be gone.

Soma worked on the show and takes criticism of it very seriously

A very irregular season thats at least way better than the unwatchable season 4.
Nothing really New and the last ep is straight from the soap ópera book of weird choices but over all the season was alright
Very glad i wont be returning to this restaurant!!

Minor quibbles aside — whoever mentioned all the breaks they were taking from the line was right — I thought this was a great ending to the series, and righted the ship after the S3/4 decline.
Also, the “let’s pitch a tent and throw a party in the back” felt super familiar; high end places were doing that stuff during the Covid era.
Richie is my favorite character, very familiar to me, and his arch brought me to tears numerous times through the show.
Mostly I’m impressed at how accurately they were able to portray the power of the bonds of a committed restaurant staff.
Faks forever.

Finished last night, right there with ya.
Cicero saying "And we got a real serious quitting problem in this family" fucking wrecked me.
