I like Alligator, but I don't think that it's aged well at all. This is especially true when compared against each new The National album that, to me at least, is better than that output.

Agree with you up until I Am Easy To Find. I just don't think that one is better than Sleep Well Beast. I don't think SWB is better than TWFM either, but it is better than IAETF.

Guys, there are lots of great songs on Alligator. Obviously the band has matured and written some incredibly brilliant music since then, but Alligator is still has at least half a dozen damn good songs.
