It's certainly one of them, yes. I didn't love Samus Returns, so I was little skeptical of the developer and the art design. Seems like they've addressed many of the issues and made a unique entry to the series.

Start with Super Metroid. It's on the Nintendo Online Virtual Console and it is one of the best games of all time.

I do want to play this but I wish it were on better hardware. I read that the resolution is 720p in docked mode, and it still doesn’t always maintain 60fps.
