I would like the Ten Club to stop sponsoring the "Pre-order Lightning Bolt via iTunes" link. I'm getting sick of it being at the top of my Facebook feed. Especially since I pre-ordered the album vial 10C a couple of weeks ago.

What if 10C has put in a cookie that told facebook that I already bought the album and thus, do not need the promoted link?

I find it ridiculous that they're trying so hard to flog an album that doesn't have a tracklist.

I'm even sceptical about this being the actual album cover or title.

So far we've got one song called lightning bolt and one song called mind your manners, I don't think a tracklist is gonna help us build any excitement.

That said I'm gunning for sirens and cold confession to appear/exist . Where's my tinfoil hat gone...

I think everything we've had so far has been decent to good. The instrumental music on the tour video showed some potential, and so does the murky soundchecked song. I'm still hoping this album is better than Backspacer and I think we have reason to expect that it will be. So yeah, I'm still excited. I think the tracklist will be useful because it'll provide a bit of context about the tone of the album in general. I'm also wanting to know whether there's any of the recognised songs rumoured to be on it. We're going to learn a lot from the tracklist.

Basically, I could do with being more excited for Lightning Bolt but I don't think I could be any more curious about it and that's still frustrating.

I'm still optimistic about the album, I just meant that the titles are almost guaranteed to cause a resounding 'dafuq' to ripple through the forum. Which will be fun, until ze bitching starts at least.
