These women were at times walking minstrel acts, without the dedication shown to their appearance that Rachel Dolezal demonstrated. How did they get away with their obviously flawed use of African American Vernacular English? Is academia full of the soft bigotry of low expectations, or are these two just in especially bad programs?

"The bill adds hate crime based on a person's age to the list of protected groups, with hatred based on someone's sex potentially to be added in the future."

Those 13 year old girls are going to have to stop saying "ok, boomer" but that's a small price to pay to be potentially protected in the future.

I've never endorsed legal action against free speech, but I'd stop using the N word in my house if it got us single-payer healthcare.
