Remember way back on Tuesday night when the hot take was that Texas is a swing state, not Florida?

I appreciate the legislative consequences of the binary win/lose outcome, and why it is therefore everybody’s focal point...but even if these Florida and Arizona races end up red this year, these results are pretty fucking bad for the GOP.

Well hopefully this time the election officials have a pair somewhere between them all and don't back down.

I don't think the GOP did themselves any favors with their lawsuit in the AZ senate race.
I guess they were thinking there would be a huge number of ballots to be fixed/cured in rural counties where McDumptruck did well, but extending the deadline also means more time in the most populous counties were Sinema did well.

I expect there will be no useful legislation on the table for the next 2 years - and I wouldn't want the Dems to make any stupid concessions that allow Trump even a tacit victory
the economy is cruising along enough that even when we enter a recession in the next year or two, simply saving Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid from eradication will be satisfactory enough
in that context, I have no qualms about endless recounts
i was thinking that night with Beto it was so close he should have hung on. i wouldn't put it past Cruz's shitheads to pull some shenanigans and make a few hundred K votes disappear
obv Georgia and Florida are cases of rampant outright fraud
Dems should just keep pressing and fighting this for the next 2 years
challenge the legitimacy of this regime
it's not frivolous
going after Bill Clinton for consensual blowjobs with another adult while in office is frivolous
widespread voter disenfranchisement is like blowjob bukkake with grade school children
unless you are Pete Townshend, you must prosecute it to the full extent of your capabilities
