I liked it a lot. I'd highly recommend it.
It was interesting, but extremely dishonest. I understand there are probably libel concerns, but it really downplays the mother's mental instability and the craziness of the allegations around the credit union. It also felt like they were playing up the initial conflict with local authorities to try and capitalize on the success of Making a Murderer.

I haven't seen it yet, but I think it was made like 3 years ago, way before MaM was released

Snowden.
Not a very good movie at all, in fact it's terrible, but I still need to put a bandaid on my laptop camera.

10 Cloverfield Lane. Quite a fun little thriller, but the ending was hella tacked on.

I didn't get that sense at all.
And you're going to have to point me toward your evidence in favor of the Credit Union.
I thought they did a good job discrediting Noreen. Or at least planting suspicion as far as she goes.

Jean-Francois Richet's Assault on Precinct 13 remake. Now that is one perfect fucking genre movie.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

What she actually thinks is that the pedo ring was run as part of George Bush's new world order, with some random satanist stuff in there as well. You don't need to plant suspicion, she's obviously fucking nuts. They purposefully did not include the most crazy stuff she says.

Okay fine, sure. I'll concede that. But just because she's nuts doesn't mean that some of that shit isn't true.
I have never heard anything about GB's New World Order or Satan and all of that. But I have heard that others involved in the sex ring have named dropped GHWB. And that's interesting to me. Not that I 100% buy it. But it's interesting.

AND even with that stuff omitted she still comes off like a fairly disreputable character who is suffering from and untrustworthy because of what happened with her son. That stuff doesn't come up. But she's hardly a reputable person in the doc.

Oh yeah she's bonkers. Over the rainbow.
But there's so much else to it than what she has to say. And that's the stuff that, even if I don't 100% believe all of it, is interesting and I think worth diving into.

The Hunter---B- not bad, a little far fetched IMO but William Defoe is always good
End of Watch---B+ it was my first time watching the whole movie as I was always interrupted in the past, tough ending to watch
The Hateful Eight---A- Great film I thought it was better than Django
Mud---A Loved this movie, Matty Mc is a beast now
The Assassination of Jesse James--A++ My favorite movie of all time, rewatched for the 9th time the other..Its def an acquired taste
