it's really sad. people will always come back and say that you can get seats for $35 or so without recognizing that (a) you're still spending over $100 on food and drink for a family of 4, and (b) those seats down the line in the upper deck which, at that point, it's better to watch the game from your couch on your hdtv.PHATJ wrote:I totally agree that cost is seriously prohibitive, especially when you have three kids and have to factor in parking costs and food/drinks. I take my kids to one game a year because of that fact.

they’ve got nothing to hang their heads about. the Yankees are better. the twins had a great season and will only get better.PHATJ wrote:Brutalspike wrote:Twins gonna Twinsspike wrote:the yankees are gonna end it so hardPHATJ wrote:Crazy game. It’s a gut punch to be swept again by the Yankees. But you are right, it was a great season. It was so much fun as a fan. Just a brutal last 3 games.Chris_H_2 wrote:they’ve got nothing to hang their heads about. the Yankees are better. the twins had a great season and will only get better.PHATJ wrote:Brutalspike wrote:Twins gonna Twinsspike wrote:the yankees are gonna end it so hardPHATJ wrote:Crazy game. Starters have routines, pitching out of the pen is a whole other animal
Some guys have been brilliant in that role. Madison Bumgarner basically won a WS doing just that. Scherzer has had dominant performances too.MadTIGERmaN wrote:I have NEVER understood bringing a starter into a game in relief in the playoffs. I don't care if hes your best pitcher.
