I kind of hate when the end of a song bleeds into the next album track because it makes it jarring to put either song on a playlist

I had this experience and decision when mastering. I really wanted a long decay with an intro drum fill but was talked out of it be the engineer. He was right.

Yes, back when I used to make mix CDs I would edit the tracks to add a fade out or fade in or whatever. But it sucks when what you're making is a playlist for someone else.

i really hate it yes. Sounds way too over produced and i mean, sounds exactly like a petty song. I do like the solo and the guitar tone. Buts one of those i dont care at all from them.
