It's dumb, but I doubt this will have a greater impact than what Topol did or the J&J pause did.

How would you combat this? They just throw the same pre-eminent sources from six months or a year ago back at you. Were they lying then or now? Its transparent that some of this has been tainted by political considerations. Now all of a sudden its not and everyone is transparent and honest?

Maybe it was known at the time, but some of the central figures in the early letters/ opeds claiming a Wuhan lab leak was deboonked were involved in administering the programs funding the gain of function and other experiments to increase the virulence of wild viruses.

Can they show us a single example of how that and similar research yielded anything useful? Sounds like this leak could have just as easily happened in the US, but we outsourced the research so it didn't. Time to turn off the federal grant spigot until we figure out what happened and what value (if any) this research provides.

After all this, they'll need the same care as soldiers coming back from war.
