Today is our last day in Italy before heading off to Greece tomorrow. We did an Amalfi tour today (private driver, 6 paying customers) and it was amazing.

We have a private transfer booked to get us to Naples airport for our flight out, picking us up at 6am.

Its currently 1216am and my wife is passed out. I'm here drinking big arse Heineken bottles and listening to tunes in the middle of a thunder storm.

Wish me luck Peeps - hopefully I make my flight to Santorini in the am.

I had the fish of the day in Ravello today. It was excellent. I am currently smashed in Sorrento.

Made it to Santorini! Shattered but happy. This accommodation was the most expensive of our whole trip (by at least double each night) but now I understand why. It is simply amazing. Caldera view in a unit built into the hillside like a cave.

The first time I walked out our little gate there were literally 3 separate instagrammers getting their "perfect" photos. Lol.

I feel like a bloody millionaire. A slightly hungover millionaire, granted, but still...

Congrats for getting him there dad. Mine is 24 now and my youngest is 21. There's something really cathartic about getting your kids to that "grown up" stage and being confident that they will be able to head off on their own 2 feet into the big wide world when they are ready.

Parenting ain't easy. You have to look around and pat yourself on the back sometimes.
