I'm talking about the theory that Rey is Obi Wan Kenobi's grand or great granddaughter. And IF that's the case, COULD it be possible that Obi Wan and Padme hooked up? If so then Obi Wan and Padme had a child. And that child is the mother/father of Rey. OR that child is the grandmother/grandfather of Rey.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to connect Rey's blood to both the Kenobi line and the Skywalker line. But I think that's unlikely.

So, I'm sticking with the theory that Kenobi hooked up with that chick from The Clone Wars series and that's the line Rey is connected to.

Why is Padme now involved. Padme is not Skywalker blood anyway. A Kenobi theory is one thing, but this. I would rather read a LV post about a director that I've never heard of and movie that released straight to VHS than read this. C'mon guys.

Because the prequels built in a sexual tension between Obi Wan and Padme. That's all. I think it would be really cool if Rey was descended from Kenobi and Padme. But that seems unlikely. That's all. I read the theory online on another site and thought it was interesting but was trying to work through if it was at all probable.

maybe Palpatine and Owen doubled up on Beru and made a super duper pooper jedi Rey.

btw, wtf is up with Owen? Did he just get screwed out of all the good genes or what?

Strange question: Did Adam Driver essentially use his real voice with the mask on, then "fake" a higher voice when it was off?

Is it plausible that Obi Wan had an affair with Padme? There was always a little sexual tension there. Is it at all possible that Rey is descended from that affair? Or is that just way too cracked out?

Could Padme have hidden a secret child birth from Anakin?

Or is it possible that Padme actually lived and went into hiding with Obi Wan?

Adam's voice with the mask off is his real, regular, unaltered voice.

With the mask on, it's modulated in post production.

Hmmmm... with the mask off, his voice sounded higher than it really is.

Weird. It didn't to me at all. Maybe they did do something to it. But I didn't notice if they did. *shrug*

It's definitely manipulated in someway with the mask on. One of the minor things that annoyed me was how poorly mixed it was, post production did a shit job. They did a better job on Darth Vader's voice 38 years ago. It's unfathomable how they ended up with how the voice sounded in this one.

Kinda reminds me of Bane's voice in the Dark Knight Rises.

Interesting. I actually like the way Kylo Ren sounds with the mask on. Like a lot.

To be clear, the voice itself is not bad. It's just the mixing/production (in comparison to everything else i.e. context), that I dislike. It sounded obviously overdubbed, and didn't believably sound like the voice was 'there' within the scene.

It was much more obvious in the VMAX cinema, on the bigger sound system, than in the little sub/mini cinema.

I really like the mask and everything about it. And the sound used for it too.

It speaks to his poser desire to intimidate and his fake 'battle damage' on it to affect credibility he doesn't have.

Still can't find out for 100% but apparently the hot ashes he leaves it on are Vaders from the funeral pyre. There's a backstory about him getting them and the helmet from a stormtrooper squad leader who collected them at the time.

Love to find out if it's legit.
