Something though
It feels like rogue one. The camera work the editing the dialogue.
All of it feels like it blends right into that.

I feel like the first episode in each chapter drags a bit, but by the end of the second, I'm in. I haven't watched Episode 6 yet, but if it's like #3, this pacing rocks.

A frightening amount of people thought that black screen was the end and missed the explosion sequence entirely.

People are dumbasses.

For those who have seen episode 5... where do you rank Saw's monologue in the ranks of amazing Andor monologues?
Spoiler: show
Again, goddamn Beau Willimon can fucking WRITE

I’m not gonna rank it, but I did run to my driveway and siphon gas out of my car, if that answers your question.

Saw only exists in this show and not in any other Star Wars content, especially those dumb cartoons... but IF he did exist there or IF he existed in any films that may or may not exist, and IF he had a sister, I think knowing that story would give the speech more weight. Good thing we don't have to think about all that.

I kid, I kid!

That's the last time I'll do that dumb, passive aggressive joke. I've taken it too far anyway.

So, I will say, there is a great (maybe the best?) arc in The Clone Wars that features Saw and his sister, and it's really worth watching. Not necessary to understanding the character but it's really good storytelling that informs who he is and why he is.

Someone give me the dummy version of the "recasting." Pretend I don't know the names of characters or actors .

Jimmy Smits plays that character starting in the prequels. Benjamin Bratt plays him in Andor S2 because of a scheduling conflict. This is the first time someone else has played the character. Jimmy has also voiced the character in the animates shows.

The character is Leia's adoptive father.

Amazing writing and performance but not relatable. Saw isn’t meant to be relatable but that was the moment you should have had an insight and some lean toward him. It didn’t land and especially not what he did to the kid

Oh interesting... my read was not at all that it was meant to be relatable, or an effort to endear him to viewers. That was a warning, that was a revelation and something we're all supposed to feel badly about in our gut.
