Sorry gang, but this album is untouchable. It's not a collection of singles or an album to be chopped up into a "best of." You're missing the whole point of the record to try and enjoy it that way. "I need a saga, what's the saga?" hit you like a ton of bricks when you first heard this back in 2002, and it still does. The radio skits are embedded in my brain as much as the songs themselves. And having actually listened to it many times as I made the same drive depicted in the album, I just can't imagine editing that stuff out and mucking around with the tracklist. It's perfect, just leave it alone and enjoy it the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

I'm not going to listen to songs I don't enjoy even if they were meant for me to enjoy them.

Just let them select their fav. tracks, guy. It's not a big deal.

Just took a look at the SFTD tracklisting and reconfirmed there is indeed not one single song I would remove. It's perfect.

I changed the thread title back while listening to that thirty second clip of Carnavoyeur.

This has potential. Probably sounds a lot larger on the record, particularly that chorus.

We'll see how good it is next month. From that it doesn't sound like it's great, it sounds like a generic qotsa song.
