Lol @ NFC North. Despite their best efforts, one of these teams has to make the playoffs...

How funny would it be if Orton got them into the playoffs on the last game after Mr $100M man chokes year after year in December.red calzolaio wrote:i think Orton playing next week really isn't that big of a deal.

I was not expecting the Falcons to put up a heartbreaking loss last night. So close but at the end.....

Heard this prediction very early on in the NFL season on sports radio and I never dismissed it. The more I think about it, the more I like it....Cincinnati Bengals...AFC Conference Champs. Discuss.

Call me absolutely crazy, but I think Orton might have given them a better chance anyway. I always thought he got a raw deal in both Chicago and Denver.Fuck You Jobu wrote:How funny would it be if Orton got them into the playoffs on the last game after Mr $100M man chokes year after year in December.red calzolaio wrote:i think Orton playing next week really isn't that big of a deal.

Re: 2013 NFL Season
I just think they're still too young and inconsistent to be able to pull off back to back wins at Denver and at New England in January. Now, if they can somehow wrest away that #2 seed from the Pats, then maybe...Coach wrote:Heard this prediction very early on in the NFL season on sports radio and I never dismissed it. The line of reasoning was that Dalton and the team could get hot late in the season, much like Baltimore last year, and pull it off.Green Habit wrote:I just think they're still too young and inconsistent to be able to pull off back to back wins at Denver and at New England in January. But I agree, having to play on Wild Card weekend (potentially) decreases their chances.

Re: 2013 NFL Season
Any team is capable of getting hot, though. Baltimore (much to the displeasure of myself, fellow DEN fans, and NE and SF fans) did just that last year.
If I had to pick the team (in the 3-6 seed range) to get hot, I'd probably go with SF before I go with CIN.

What if you had to choose an NFC team and an AFC team? I agree on SF and I'd go with CIN for the AFC. Hey, that would be a rematch!Green Habit wrote:Any team is capable of getting hot, though. Don't laugh, but I think Philly and San Diego are more than capable of being those teams.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Chris in taking SD over CIN (since they did beat the Broncos at home this yearCoach wrote:What if you had to choose an NFC team and an AFC team? I like the San Diego pick. I think Baltimore is very capable of moving on, but I think Flacco is really hurt, esp after seeing the video replay...nasty.Green Habit wrote:Unfortunately, I have to agree with Chris in taking SD over CIN (since they did beat the Broncos at home this yearCoach wrote:What if you had to choose an NFC team and an AFC team?
