We are celebrating tomorrow and i got her a small keyboard with a mic so every grown up hates me. I got her another mic a few years ago, one that you can send music from spotify to and its just hilarious the see her sing.

Of course its hilarious to me, my brother and his wife hates it.
they sure used that keyboard!! and it was LOUD.
Your brother’s going to kick your ass

Mrs Wease and I are in Atlanta for the youngest’s cheer competition. It ends tonight and we’re supposed to leave first thing in the morning. The oldest is in Baltimore for a grad school audition. The oldest’s layover in Charlotte has now been pushed to 7am tomorrow. If she can’t find anyone to pick her up from the airport we’re going to have to leave here tonight around 11-11:30 after the competition is over, drive back home then leave the house early enough to pick her up from the airport and take her back to her apartment that’s an hour and a half away from our house.

Disaster averted. I guess all that came up before they even boarded in Baltimore. The airline got her a direct flight out of DC and gave her a voucher for a free taxi ride from airport to airport. She boarded and is in the air for Nashville right now.

so the MIL funeral/get together/celebration of life is this Sunday...we rented out a big red barn as she grew up on the prairies of Saskatchewan...its an open bar with a lot of catered food and I was given the chore of creating a playlist of her favorite songs..sure a lot of show tunes and some good jazz on it..cheers

my high school friend is in town from Alaska. Been a good 30+ years since I have seen him and me and a few others managed to wrangle up about a dozen more people to join us saturday night.

the group text pretty much picked right up from 1988
