Man, I though this came out today.

Guys - even though Neil is putting out fairly ridiculous albums....I dont want him to die. I wont be able to handle it.

Im listening to Unplugged and there really isn't anything much better than him hitting a dropped D top string and fingerpicking his way through some beautiful melody.

Alright, who do i talk to if i want to track down a couple of live shows from the past 10 years? McP? is that you? Who?

According to Wikipedia, there are five other announced volumes:

-Toast (an album from 2000 with Crazy Horse)
-Homegrown
-Chrome Dreams
-Oceanside/Countryside
-Odeon-Budokan

I downloaded it and loaded it up. But I'm picking up the LP tomorrow so I'll probably wait for that.

I can't wait to love this.

Homegrown is from '75, so it predates Hitchhiker. But they've always been a bit out of order: the performance series goes 00, 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 9, 11, 12. Live at the Filmore is #2, but was released first.

Yeah, it's super confusing. At least the ORS has been in order. The next release will be the early '80s, and I'm interested to see how well it sells.

I'm all in for the whole run of this thing. It's not that I even like every album, it'll just be the fact that I'll own every Neil album.

Plus I can't wait for Reactor.

honestly, he didnt sound that great on that facebook video he did from Telluride this past week....

hitchhiker isn't that great of a song.

I liked the album. I do love Powderfinger too, great song.

I prefer the "hitchhiker" from the le noise album
