I think it's like ... create something for the joy of creating it ... not necessarily for everyone else to enjoy until the end of time.

Like a sidewalk chalk artist.

I can certainly relate to that. I've written two dozen plays, three novels, short stories, poetry, songs, and comic books. And no one (except a very select few) has seen any of it.

Still I try to run on. Because... well, you know why.

I wrote a children’s book once where the kid gets eaten by a bear bc I got tired of kids in books always coming out on top of every situation.

I would like to donate to your Kickstarter.

If RM's own fucking goddamn Burt goddamn Reynolds can have "books" published in this fucking world, I'm not sure why you shouldn't!

Teaches kids a valuable lesson. Don't fuck with bears.

The kids books that we’ve got at Casa Bam don’t have a whole lot of adversarial stuff going on. Like usually if there are bears or something the kids run away.

But MD makes a good point.

-The absolute best version of Even Flow, studio or live, is the original on Ten.

-If there’s a song on Binaural that should be swapped out, it’s NAIS.

-Every song on Riot Act is better than the 3 B-sides we’ve got from those sessions.

-Yellow Moon is one of the most beautiful songs they’ve ever made.

-Ed would be better off modeling himself after Bob Seger than Bruce Springsteen.

Strong agree here, I'm not at all fond of the re-recorded version with Abbruzzese.

The original recording swings!

Agreed insofar as we're talking about Down or Undone.

I can't remember what the third b-side is.

God no.

I don't know enough about Bob Seger to agree but I'm all for any opportunity to put the boot into Bruce Springsteen.

I thought using “if” would be slow enough.

Love how the vocals sneak in early in the chorus on the original Even Flow.

“Other Side”was the “other B-side”

Some decent Seger songs:
Night Moves
Main Street
Turn the Page
Hollywood Nights

We would all be so lucky/happy if Pearl Jam released an album half as good as Western Stars.

But he’s right, though.
