No seriously, it's not purgatory.
We swear to god, it's not purgatory.
Here's some shocking, obscure science that you'll never understand.

OK, it was kinda purgatory.
The only failure of LOST is that for some reason too many people believe what you just posted. And it isn't even that complicated or hard to grasp. ABC really shit the bed by putting that crash footage over the ending credits. I think that fucked everybody up. But the actual explicit dialogue in the actual show will tell you that you're wrong here.
I dont even know :( Though ive only seen the last season once.
It's okay, buddy. I love you no matter what you think of LOST.
no i LOVE LOST. i still am just confused about how it ended!
What can I help you figure out, friend?
What happened. When did everybody die. I should just watch it again.
Spoiler: show
Every died at different times. We saw some of them on the show, some we didn't. Basically everything that happened on the island, "really happened." None of that was death or hell or purgatory or any of that. All of the "flash sideways" stuff was afterlife stuff when they were all dead.

And they all kind of ended up realizing that when they were reuniting at the funeral?

Well, everyone figured it out at different times. But we were seeing it through Jack's eyes. So we learned it as Jack learned it and that I think was a little confusing for people.

I saw every episode of the show at least twice. Except the finale. I've only seen that once. I'd watch every previous season all over again right before the new season came out. So I've seen all of S1 like 6 times.

It's the best show!

I was told you're meant to watch the last 20 minutes of castaway as the finale of lost.
Same airport and everyone arriving home and Tom hanks was actually on the same island and it was him causing all the havoc talking to Wilson cos the ball was the remote control for the control centre thing.

At least McP and dime can agree on something. I'll call that a victory. Thanks, LOST!
