Man, I wish I could lie to my creditors and get out of my contracts as easily. "I'm sorry Verizon, I need to rethink whether I'm going to use a cell phone ever again."

I watched Yoga Hosers today. It was nowhere near as bad as I expected. In fact, I found it kind of charming.

I'm really interested in that. I thought Tusk was super underrated.

I think it's similar to Knock Knock: a veiled critique of social media and internet culture. And if there's any subject Kevin Smith is qualified to explore, it's probably that one. The main character is reduced to an ironic joke by the end of the movie. He loses his humanity and dignity to absurdity. It's a gonzo and interesting movie, I think.

I loved that..but he kinda ruins it with the joke at the end...the whole podcast stuff where he is laughing about the end we just saw. Its like he is afraid of commit with the movie, with the premise of what we saw, and he needs to tell us that everything was just an ironic joke.

"Absentia"

Decent, very low budget horror film. I can't imagine this movie cost more $200k, and all that was likely permit and SAG fees.

That's an impressive movie. Flanagan is one of the most interesting directors around.

For sure an amazing use of limited resources with several pretty tense scenes. I would have liked it more if the dudes playing the cops weren't over-acting.

He explained that. Something about it being a product of the podcast so he wanted everyone to know where it came from.

Well, it did ruin the whole thing for me. Everyone was laughing when he was discussing the ending.
