Is it good? Its seems like another of those ¨indie¨ films.

I watched the special edition of Aliens last night. I'm not real familiar with the movie, have only seen it once or twice before last night, it was good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected to.

Yeah, psyched about this. I bought McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Short Cuts, and Carnival of Souls. And I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a $10 credit for some reason.

Watched Deepwater Horizon yesterday (my son did a report on it for fifth grade). It wasn't that bad, honestly. Though some of the CGI underwater looked like a Quicktime video from 2005 or something, just turrible. And I could not figure out what I was supposed to be taking away from most of the underwater shots. I get it, something's going bad here, but what, exactly? No idea.

I also liked that they showed the after-effect/PTSD of having survived that. Could have used a few more minutes of it, and maybe more than just Marky Mark, but I still applaud the decision to not end with "and we all lived happily ever after".

This kind of sums it up pretty well:

BFG. I liked the first half, though all the stuff with the queen was weird. Longest and most tedious fart joke ever. Fell off a cliff at the halfway point. They didn't really know how to end that one. The giants looked cool though.
