They didn't use the hospital ships. The field hospitals were empty. Where was the system collapse resulting in dead bodies in the streets? If it ever was an issue it sure as fuck isn't now.

nurses were wearing trash bags while making decisions over which patients in the hallways were worth even trying to save but that's not truly overwhelmed because hey it could have been worse

remember when they had to bring freezer trucks to hospitals to stack the bodies? not overwhelmed though because hey they didn't spill into the streets
