Dude if you don't believe actual doctors and nurses about what they went through, you're just being stupid. There's pages and pages of testimony from around the world. Stop being stupid.verb_to_trust wrote:People can die without healthcare "collapsing". That word was thrown around way too much. I was wondering where all the respirators made under the defense procurement act went... I mean... did we ever actually retool factories to make any of those?

Having a vaccine makes you immune from contracting something?
Or keeps you from getting sick when you contract it?
Your original post said "overwhelmed" but of course you move the goalposts. It got busy at their job. Their job didn't "collapse".
The best way to encourage more verb posts is to engage with verb posts. Keep it rolling.Orpheus wrote:Your original post said "overwhelmed" but of course you move the goalposts. It got busy at their job. Their job didn't "collapse".
You keep making light of this, literally around posts about people's relatives being sick and dying. Sociopath shit. Get a fucking life.
If I'm overwhelmed at my job I guess my interpretation of that is I'm unable to perform my duties. Like, a doctor would just sit down and start crying if one more covid patient was admitted and not provide care. It never happened.Orpheus wrote:Your original post said "overwhelmed" but of course you move the goalposts. It got busy at their job. Their job didn't "collapse".

There were ethics committees telling doctors which patients go on ventilators and which are left to die in 2020, verb.verb_to_trust wrote:If I'm overwhelmed at my job I guess my interpretation of that is I'm unable to perform my duties. Media reactions are more interesting than breakthrough cases at this point.Bammer wrote:Ok exactly. So positive test for a vaccinated person is a NON STORY.

The C.D.C. said that as of April 26, of the more than 95 million people in the United States who had been fully vaccinated, it knew of 9,245 breakthrough infections. Of those, there were 835 hospitalizations and 132 deaths.
Beginning on Friday, though, the C.D.C. said it would change the way it reported breakthrough infections to only those who were hospitalized or died — the two most severe outcomes from contracting Covid-19. In other words, the Yankees’ cases wouldn’t fall under that category going forward.
