Beginning on Friday, though, the C.D.C. said it would change the way it reported breakthrough infections to only those who were hospitalized or died — the two most severe outcomes from contracting Covid-19. In other words, the Yankees’ cases wouldn’t fall under that category going forward.
This calculates to 0.00001% of vaccinated people having symptoms/death.
Of that 0.00001% do we get a breakdown of obesity or other existing health problems?
The Yankees cases are so stupid. They test for no reason. I read that Aaron Boone was tested three times yesterday. If you hunt cases pointlessly you will eventually find some via false positives or pointless asymptomatic infections that would probably be found if we hunted any other viral infection in the same way.

Maybe he just needs a vacation? I've read his posts all year - he whines a ton but says he's followed the rules, like a good boy. Maybe he just couldn't handle the precautions like wearing a mask, and it made him bitter?

personally i dont see why you get so worked up that people wear masks at all, pandemic or not. it affects you absolutely in no way shape or form. its as irrational as i think people who wear crocs out in public should be executed so maybe we arent so different, other than im not completely unhinged like you are

I fully support your desire to wear a mask anywhere you want.
All I want is the Covid related laws to be based on the science of how it spreads and stop with the ones that are about behaviour modification (i.e. we will close bars at 10pm because people may make riskier decisions with more drinking time).

So, if your data says that a significant proportion of cases are coming from people in bars after 10pm, give me an example of a law that would mitigate that?
