They're doing a big PR project that includes Apatow and gang. It's on the way.
Apatow, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Segel, etc?

The speculation starved should be happy BOB's out there tossing out gems. Otherwise there'd be nothing and we'd be left with a pointless thread.

Wait.
I would rather read and hear nothing than have it all filtered to me through O'Brien. That radio interview with Mike ended up being quite a lovely breath of fresh air. It was like finding an old friend locked up in a cellar and fighting to get him back again.
I'm calling bullshit on that one. Harmless you'd be the first guy ready to go off the cliff if there were zero interviews before that Mike one. It gave you (and everyone else) something to fill the time.

Yes. Them.

Or... Apatow, Carrie Brownstein, Steve Gleason and Mark Richards. And a 10-minute EPK by Danny Clinch. And interviews with magazines and such. And I'm sure Letterman, at a minimum.

Pearl Jam is like Lord Baltimore. They'll track us all down eventually.

I kind of like the idea of the band finishing the record and going uh yeah BoB, go promote that shit, later. They are the 'notoriously press-shy grunge survivors' after all.

He's given that Ed answer in like every interview so far.

OK, look, it's not an either / or binary choice. I like that we've had stuff to talk about, but I really don't like that it's mostly been how much BO'B sucks. And I keep backtracking from that, because the band like him and I want to respect that, but then another BO'B interview is released, and... gah! So yes, we're keeping busy but at this point I think BO'B should shut up and we should continue with the mindless speculation about the music.

Are you saying we can be OK with the fact that BO'B sounds awful and like a total douche, but PJ don't care? Is that rock 'n roll? Is that, in fact, punk?

The real mistake they made is that even before all this BO'B stuff, we got riled up about a countdown clock which honestly was started at least a month too early.

We could talk about this instead, but it's nothing we haven't covered in 600 pages: http://www.twofeetthick.com/2013/09/pea ... ts-so-far/

I think they've actually done a nice job meting things out for the maniacs. Single, video, artwork, YouTube clips.

My sources say the new album leaked, the clue is it's buried underneath a giant "T".

They've done a lot of good stuff, granted. I just don't think it should've started three months early.

I thought this album was supposed to be called "X" because the shape showed up on a 10c hat....?

Isn't an "x" just a sideways "T"?

Idk its a more amusing way to look at things, a counter speculation to 'the band don't know what they're doing and BoB is talking advantage of them so he can funnel the money he gets into his cheese-piano business venture' . A line of speculation that could be further speculated, ya dig? Maybe the band knows BoB is a douche-kazoo and threw him to the wolves while they're chillin maxing relaxing all cool at home.

Or you could also look at it like BoB cares more about the actual album than the band does and they know it, then its still funny.....but in a different way.

That was what it was going to be called in the first recording session, but in the second BO'B said that was a stupid idea and asked "What's the most rousing anthem on the record?" When the answer came, "Lightning Bolt", the album was named thusly.

Probably just a way for BoB to get his name out there and say, "Hey, other bands, I'm still around. See what I've done lately?"
