It really p*sses me off that numbers really only ever posts in this thread and the wrestling thread anymore. The two threads on the entire board I rarely go in to.

A witness tree is a type of survey marker, but the name really implies so much more. That is all I can really say.

We also hired Dipoto as a front office consultant and that's one of the biggest analytics guys in the game.

My hope is that Dombrowski gets them away from over reliance on analytics, and from these too smart for their own good schemes like not signing SP's over 30.

Was DiPoto brought in before they knew they were getting DD? I could see him walking the plank with Cherington if not.

Either way, they hired him less than a week ago so it shows they're not completely giving up on data.
