just got an email that a patient on the hospital campus here was diagnosed with the virus. they self-reported a cough on check-in and was masked though so that's a positive.

I still think if you're sick but not in need of a caregiver, you should just stay at home in self-quarantine. Call in to your local ER or doctor's office, ask if there are any meds they can prescribe to help and get them delivered. If someone wants test confirmations, too bad.

At the point where you decide you’d rather flood the healthcare system to death than make the effort to spread the infections out over time.

Assuming this acts like the flu, its also a matter of delaying it's spread as much as possible until April/May.
