Looking at the last few posts in this thread, it looks like this has been somewhat of a trend. I find myself enjoying the ridiculously epic keyboard(?) at;
"When hurricanes and cyclones raged
When winds turned dirt to dust
When floods they came or tides they raised
Ever closer became us"
However, this line has been bugging me;
"No one wins but somehow they're still played"
Well, if no one wins, then yea, the games would still be played, until somebody wins. Right?
The sense could be that people keep playing the same games even though nobody ever wins (i.e. people are stupid and don't learn from their mistakes).

So they keep playing these games where there's no winner, only losers?

I walked to work this morning and had my PJ playlist set to shuffle (just all their studio albums). The set was going good with an Evacuation > Rival > Nothing As It Seems > Faithfull run, and then Future Days hit. I felt my penis shed a tear.

In this case, it was kind of like when you get bad news, you laugh bc you don't know what else to do

Or, you know, they know the point is the
game, not winning or losing.

In context it seems a bit more futile than that.

Future Days is the next single off Lightning Bolt. Odd choice.

I wonder if the video is just gonna be them live. I hope so. I don't want to see a theatrical video for this song. At all.
I like the song okay but I don't think this is a single by any means what so ever.

Oh god I do. I hope for something like November Rain, but everyone dies in the end, and it turns out to be real.
