It seems to be the consensus pick. Had it years ago because of the buzz and it was very good, but I also haven’t had too many bad beefs. Unless you guys are renting a car and have an afternoon free, you won’t be bothered to go there - it’s too far from downtown. Just go to Portillo’s on Clark and La Salle.
Al’s Beef sucks. Their giardiniera isn’t salted and only has oil, green pepper, and celery.wease wrote:We may just do Al’s since it’s right there.
