He’s a session drummer, Ed will probably just tell him to sound like Matt sounded:

I went hunting for examples of Abe's playing outside of McCartney, particularly anything a bit looser or rock-flavoured, and ended up at Michael Landau's Liquid Quartet Live, recorded in 2019.

The late night (SNL? Conan? IDK) debut of World Wide Suicide, with Matt doing backing vox, really impressed me. It was the first time where I was like "Hell yea, that looks and sounds awesome."
