I’ve never had the sausage, but it would have to have some other fat mixed with it. Pheasant is the absolute driest meat I’ve ever eaten. It’s like trying to eat a mouthful of sawdust.

antelope burger? they have a venison burger too i guess could try, but i'm not in love with venison

“Venison” is a loose term that can mean elk, deer, moose...And they may be adding pork or other fat and not telling you.

Antelope can be good if cooked right.

And I’m with Ruddo. Properly cooked pheasant can be super juicy, like a gamier, less fatty duck.

I've only had pheasant with buckshot..I think the last time i had it was at about age 12

ah yeah - i think i've only had deer meat then...deer jerky was fine and i think i had it in cheese dip once, but when i had it in stew i didn't care that much for it
