It’s irrelevant what he wants now. If he ever even knew. He’s totally boxed into a corner now.

Corbyn has been so demonized for so long by the British media it’s worked and it’s all stuck.

He brutalized Johnson yesterday at PM questions and got a huge bounce, everyone saying ‘where’s this guy been? More of this please’
So I’d say that poll was before that and should be viewed as out of date.

To be fair, Corbin seems unpopular with remainers as well, thanks in part to his “business as usual” attitude and reluctance to really push for a referendum. I get the impression that at least some people who oppose Brexit see him as likely to extend but not solve the problem. The way he’s written about in opeds seems comparable to me to how climate change voters view, say, Joe Biden. Or how Americans fretting about the volume of Trump-filled court positions see Chuck Schumer.

See this is the problem. Apparently he wants Britain out of the Eu and to nationalise everything and make it a true socialist state. Nobody really knows hi position as he’s never nailed any colours to the last at all.

But they seem to be all on the same page to a degree. Stop no deal at all costs. Figure it out after, second referendum, leave with the deal.

Corbyn has said he’d support Scottish independence and would happily see a NI only backstop.

It’s anyone’s guess what’s next

5. They don't see huge economic damage - Ireland expects short term damage.
6. Southern Europeans couldn't give two tosses about it.


Brussels expect Britain to reopen talks within a week. Initially will allow Irish border to be porous, but will be checking continental ports (causing delays and shortages in the UK).
